Emergency

Call 112. Calling for help is required by law (German Criminal Code § 323c). levelll cannot promise immunity from criminal or administrative consequences.

Immediate

  1. 1. Recovery position. Head tilted back, mouth open so vomit can drain.
  2. 2. Call 112. Tell them what was taken if you know it — the medics need to know what's acting.
  3. 3. Check breathing rate and responsiveness regularly. Report immediately if it gets worse.

Don't do

  • Don't leave the person alone — not even to get a glass of water.
  • Don't try to 'shake them awake' with shaking or cold water — that endangers the airway.
  • Don't leave them lying on their back — risk of aspiration if they vomit.

Unconsciousness with breathing intact is the most common emergency situation in substance settings. The cause is usually sedation from alcohol, benzodiazepines, GHB/GBL, ketamine, or opioids.

The recovery position is the most important first-aid measure:

  1. Person on their back
  2. The arm nearest you up at a right angle
  3. The other arm across the chest, back of the hand against the near cheek
  4. Bend the far leg, knee pointing up
  5. Pull at the shoulder and knee toward you — the person rolls onto their side
  6. Tilt the head back slightly, the mouth opens

If breathing worsens or stops: see the respiratory-arrest scenario.

Police note: Rendering aid is a legal duty under § 323c StGB (German Criminal Code). levelll cannot rule out prosecution, but anyone who gets help is acting within the law.
